# approval

> Reference for the approval tool of Wundaly: the queue of everything waiting for your OK, with every action.

Source: https://wundaly.geenius.io/docs/reference/approval/

One queue of everything waiting on the owner. Your AI can ask, and you decide. Emails to customers and other risky steps wait here until you say OK.

Call it as `geenius_os(tool: "approval", action: "<action>", args: {...})` through Wundaly.

## Actions

| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| `new` | What arrived since your last call, each once; it moves your mark (peek only looks). |
| `open` | One approval whole. Marks it read; peek does not. |
| `history` | Past approvals; never moves a mark. |
| `mark` | Mark read for ids, up to an id or all; unread rewinds your mark. Marking is not deciding. |
| `withdraw` | Withdraw an approval you asked for. |

> [!TIP]
> Ask for the exact arguments of any action with `action: "help", of: "new"`. The server answers from its own definitions, so that answer is always current.

> [!NOTE]
> Two more actions, ask and decide, are how an approval is requested and settled. Only a person decides.
