# Packs and memberships

> Sell a ten-pack, a subscription or a trial with Wundaly: each booking uses one credit, and a cancel gives it back.

A membership plan is something you sell: a **subscription** (per month or per year), a **pack** of a number of sessions, or a **trial**.

## How credits work

A booking of a service the plan covers uses one credit when it is confirmed, and gives it back when the customer cancels within your rules. An eleventh booking on a ten-pack is refused in the customer's own words: buy a new pack. An expired pack is refused even with credits left, and a payment that is past due blocks the bookings that need it.

## What customers see

In your web app, customers see their credits and dates and can cancel there themselves. A cancelled subscription ends at the first period end after the notice days, and a confirmation goes out.

## Money

Amounts are whole cents, VAT included. Selling a plan answers a draft invoice with VAT per line. You approve it like any other.
