# Approvals

> Approvals in Wundaly: emails to customers and other steps that matter wait for your yes. Only a person decides.

Emails to customers and other consequential steps wait in **approvals** until a person decides.

- You see exactly what will happen.
- You can edit it, then approve.
- Only a person decides. A helper can ask, never decide.
- Every step is written to the [audit trail](/docs/audit-trail/).

## Typical items

An invoice email, a message about a moved booking, a voucher email, a website publish.

## For your helper

The approval tool offers a queue of what is new, one approval in full, a history, marking as read and withdrawing a request. Marking as read is not deciding.

## What a shop does differently

A shop's switch to live is a person's decision too. Your helper can run the readiness check, never the switch. See [your shop](/docs/your-shop/).

> [!TIP]
> Open approvals once a day at the same time. It becomes a small, calm habit.
